After securing the 2014 ANDRA Top Fuel Championship, the second national title of his career, Phil Lamattina  (above left) has just one thing on his mind – more racing.

Geoff Gradden qualified for his first Top Doorslammer field at the Australian Nationals over the weekend. He then proceeded to win the entire event.

Husband and wife drag racing team Grant and Debbie O’Rourke have rounded out their 2014 Australian National Drag Racing season in third and sixth position in the Top Doorslammer and Top Alcohol championships respectively this weekend.

This weekend’s season-ending Australian Nationals will see Victor Bray make his comeback to the ANDRA scene after a few months away, and he will do so with son Ben Bray by his side.

Should the unthinkable happen and Gary Phillips is eliminated in Top Alcohol Round 1 at the Australian Nationals, Steve Ham could be the lucky beneficiary to snatch a Championship from the jaws of defeat.

2013 Australian Top Fuel Motorcycle Champion Chris Porter will make his ANDRA Drag Racing Series return in the season ending Australian Nationals at Sydney Dragway next weekend October 31 – November 2.
