The Swan Hill Drag Racing Club have released the following update regarding the inaugural Race For Pride event originally scheduled for this weekend October 8th and 9th.

Adelaide DragRace Promotions has released their 2016/2017 calendar for Adelaide International Raceway.

The long awaited opening of Swan Hill Dragway; Australia’s newest quarter mile drag strip in regional Victoria, is edging closer with entries set to open for the Race for Pride on October 8-9th.

Drag racing is more a team sport than most people imagine. It takes a small army of dedicated souls behind the scenes to bring a race vehicle to the track – especially if it happens to burn nitro.

The Warrnambool and Districts Drag Racing Association AGM will be held 25 August 2016.

The Warrnambool and District Drag Racing Association has issued the following update regarding the recent decision by Moyne Shire to withdraw it's support from a permanent drag strip at the old Koroit racecourse.

Hidden Valley Drag Racing Association today announced that the Department of Infrastructure (DOI) have commenced the track rectification works on Hidden Valley Drag Strip.

The quickest and fastest nitro funny car pilot in New Zealand – Willy White - will join fellow countryman, Morice McMillin as the Kiwi duo double the odds of taking the Aeroflow ‘Rocket’ trophies back to the land of the long white cloud.

With a reputation as one of the country’s best drag racing tuners, Aaron Hambridge is a name that needs no introduction when it comes to nitro-powered racecars but this time, Hambridge is taking his talent to funny cars. 

The Australian championship-winning Top Fuel tuner will be joining the Aeroflow Outlaw Nitro Funny Car series, serving as a crew-chief to some of the series’ best drivers, as well as providing assistance to series owner and Australian drag racing legend – Graeme Cowin. 

Hambridge will have four cars to look after at the series’ final event for 2015, the Aeroflow Triple Challenge held at Sydney Dragway on December 12.

New Zealand’s Morice McMillin has driven some fast cars during his drag racing career but last Sunday the affable Kiwi had his first taste of nitro whilst completing licencing passes at Sydney Dragway and for him and his crew, the Aeroflow Triple Challenge can’t come soon enough.
