The Tamworth Drag Racing Association is excitedly preparing for its return to racing on October 30 and October 31 at the Gunnedah Airport.

TDRA President, Bill Ausling, said he is greatly looking forward to everyone getting back on track together.

“It has been a tough year and things keep changing but we are very hopeful for a successful event on October 30 and 31,” Ausling said.

“Entries are open online now, and if anyone needs a tech inspection, I encourage them to contact me as soon as possible so we can organise an inspection for them at the event.

“Obviously we need to meet all the NSW Health guidelines to run our event, and one of these is that all participants must be double-vaccinated to enter the facility and we appreciate everyone’s cooperation with that requirement.

“With things changing every day, we will be monitoring the situation very carefully and will be posting any updates to our Facebook page, so we encourage everyone to keep an eye on that in the lead up to the event.

“Things might be a little different to what we have had in the past, but I am sure we can have a fantastic two days of racing and I can’t wait to see everyone back on the track.

“To have our drag racing family back in action will be really great and we can’t wait to see how these two big days of racing unfold.”

If you are planning on attending the October 30/31 event and need a tech inspection, please contact TDRA Club President Bill Ausling on tdrainc@hotmail.com or 0428 454 502 as soon as possible.
