The Hidden Valley drag racing season will be kicking off this Friday with the traditional Good Friday combined Test & Tune and Off Street Event.

This Friday nights action is bound to be hard and fast with plenty of local cars getting the dust wiped off to bring them back down to the track.

“We have a few new cars testing this Friday night, but we also have plenty of cars that haven’t been racing for a number of years so it is exciting to see them return to the track in 2015” said President Scott MacLean.

One of those is Neville Beyer returning with the wheel standing action of his LC Holden Torana.

It’s not all about the big guns, the night is also set to feature the return of Beat the Heat Off Street racing.

“This is a great night for those who are interested in racing their car or bike in a safe environment to come down and give it a go.” said Scott MacLean

Any street car or bike can register on the night to take their car down the quarter mile and see how fast they really are. They can also have ago at trying to “Beat the Heat”.

Gates open at 2pm with Competitor testing from 3pm and Off Street racing underway from 7pm this Friday night at Hidden Valley Drag Strip.”
