Champion drag racer Maurice Fabietti enters this week’s opening round of the 2011/12 ANDRA Pro Series, the Fuchs Australian Nationals at Sydney Dragway, having renewed his agreement with Holden Trade Club.

The latest contract sees Fabietti extend his deal with GM Holden into a sixth year, the new season the third his Holden Monaro Top Doorslammer has run under the Holden Trade Club banner.

Launceston's Shane Walker will this weekend commence the first leg of his quest for a National Drag Racing Championship. Over the next ten months Walker will compete at five of the six rounds of the Rocket Allstars Racing Series on his Harley Davidson Screaming Eagle Destroyer.

On the weekend of the17th & 18th September, Alice Springs Inland Dragway will be hosting the NT Desert ¼ mile Titles with two exciting days of competition featuring Australia's 2010/2011 Supercharged Outlaw champion, Matt Watts in his wild supercharged altered.

ANDRA has endorsed a recent "Affiliation" proposal received by Racing ONN Promotions at last weekend's Board meeting held in Sydney.

ANDRA is delighted to announce the return of Drag Racing back to Adelaide. The first few events will be staged over the 1/8thmile, the first event is scheduled for Saturday November 26th 2011.

Racing ONN Promotions, Managing Director, Rino D'Alfonso has confirmed that negotiations with the owner of Adelaide International Raceway are now complete. Following the resignation of Simon Pinnock on Tuesday August 23 2011, the ANDRA Board has unanimously elected Liam Waldron as the Interim Chairman.
