The ANDRA Drag Racing Series is set for another season of free-to-air TV coverage on SBS’ Speedweek program with a broadcast deal signed off through to the end of 2013.

All professional category rounds will be aired along with finals from seven of the Aeroflow Sportsman Drag Racing Championship rounds, making drag racing one of the most televised motorsports outside V8 Supercars. Sydney-based AVE will be producing the programs which will air both on SBS and Speed Channel on Foxtel.

The majority of the show’s scheduling will begin the weekend after each event. The show will be getting a revamp with new graphics packages, top end interviews and a greater focus on eliminations, plus more sportsman content.

The ANDRA Drag Racing Series will this season take in rounds from New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, Western Australia, South Australia and the Northern Territory.
