The 2015/2016 Summit Racing Equipment Sportsman Series could be the year Craig Geddes lifts another Championship if history repeats itself like clockwork on the 10 year and 20 year anniversary of his first and second National Championships. 

Nitro Up North this past weekend at Hidden Valley Drag Strip in Darwin represented the opening of the 2015/2016 ANDRA Championship season for Top Alcohol and Top Doorslammer while serving as an  introduction to Top Fuel in the Northern Territory.

The Australian National Drag Racing Association (ANDRA) is pleased to announce Ray Treasure as the National Championship Race Director.

The newly created role forms part of ANDRA’s long-term strategy toward a National approach. 

As more and more racers currently travel, ANDRA CEO Malcolm Bulley recognised the need for a consistent approach to the organising and running of all ANDRA Championship Rounds around the country.

“To make this work we needed to create a position at event level and engage a person that not only knows the sport inside out but has the skills to work with local tracks and racers,” said Bulley.
