Toby Austin has won his second 60foot Rising Star Award of the season at the Desert Nationals presented by Supercheap Auto & Shannons Insurance at Alice Springs Inland Dragway.
Austin cut a .028 reaction time at the tree and an 8.04 ET on an 8.00 dial in for an overall package of .068 on his way to a break out loss in the final.
The 60foot Rising Star Award recognises the Junior Dragster racer who has the best reaction time and dial in package at each round of the Aeroflow Sportsman Drag Racing Championship.
The winners of the 60foot Rising Star Award receive an exclusive 60foot Rising Star-branded clothing pack to the value of $300 including a large sports/race bag, cap, hoodie, t-shirt, sticker pack, can cooler and medallion.
