The first round of the Summit Racing Equipment Sportsman Series saw three new 660ft national records set at Fuchs South Coast Raceway in Portland last weekend.
2014 Super Compact Champion Domenic Rigoli came out all guns blazing resetting both ends of the CC/SC record with a 4.490 and 144.29 mph. The previous minimum mark was 4.58 and 141.00 mph.
Daniel Camilleri reset the Super Stock 660ft ET record for DD/GA with a 4.894, to surpass the minimum mark of 4.99.
