ANDRA is pleased to announce that a meeting has been scheduled for next Monday 1st August 2011 in Casino NSW. Richmond Valley Council Mayor, Col Sullivan will be in attendance to chair the meeting.
All key stakeholders will be present at the meeting and will include, the Richmond Valley Council, Jukebox Lismore / Summerland Drags, Richmond Local Area Command / NSW Police Force, ANDRA / National Operations, NSW Sport and Recreation / Motor Sport Division
The primary purpose of this meeting is to address issues identified during previous events surrounding hazard management considerations and risk control measures in place for each event.
ANDRA National Operations Manager, Brenton Myers will be in attendance at the meeting and looks forward to a successful resolution to the issues identified.
“A huge thanks is extended to all key stakeholders who have all done an outstanding job to deliver safe and successful 1/8th mile drag racing in Casino”, in addition to the very positive economical impact to the local community, Myers said.
