World champion Larry Dixon is coming to Australia! In a one off appearance, one of NHRA Drag Racing’s biggest stars will be competing at Willowbank Raceway for the first time ever, bringing his renowned crew chief Lee Beard along for the ride.
The Santo’s Cranes Super 3 Extreme Drag Race concept, featuring the Louie Rapisarda Top Fuel Trophy Race, will see professional drag racing not only return to the Easter timeslot (29-30 March 2013) at Queensland’s premier drag racing facility, but do so with the brand new double header format – seeing two individual championship rounds over two days under the lights.
See the Australian stars of Top Fuel do battle with Dixon including national champion Darren Morgan, Phil Lamattina, Allan Dobson, Damien Harris and Steve Read on the quarter mile plus Top Alcohol’s best including Gary Phillips, Wayne Newby, Steve Reed and Rick Gauci.
