ANDRA is seeking a suitably qualified person, preferably with engineering qualifications, to manage the safety, technical and procedural aspects of ANDRA Drag Racing, in line with the policy of the Association.
The position is permanently based in Adelaide. Travel to all Australian states and Territories is required from time to time.
Position Overview:
ANDRA requires a suitably qualified person, preferably with engineering qualifications, to manage the safety, technical and procedural aspects of ANDRA Drag Racing, in line with the policy of the Association. The position is permanently based in Adelaide. Travel to all Australian states and Territories is required from time to time.
Position Objectives:
· Maintenance /development/application of ANDRA competition rules, standards, procedures and vehicle specifications in line with policy
· Support of the ANDRA Operations Manager with technical and procedural operations and management / training of volunteer officials.
· Provision of technical advice and clarification.
Required Qualifications / Experience:
· Engineering background / qualifications (preferred)
· Excellent organisational skills
· Excellent human relations skills
· Knowledge of technical issues related to motor sport.
· Understanding of basic risk management principles
· Experience in setting and achieving targets.
· Ability to work unsupervised
· Computer skills (Microsoft Office)
