Victorian Nationals leader Peter Ryan visited Swan Hill's Chisholm Park this week and met with motor sports and Drag Racing Club representatives to discuss the proposed development of the complex including the plans for a ¼ mile drag strip.
“This is an extremely impressive venue,” Mr Ryan said.
“The community should be justifiable proud of the facilities that have been developed so far effectively with solely volunteer contributions.
“The success of venues such as this are reliant on the involvement of the entire community and to see how this complex has developed with the support of the whole Swan Hill community augers well for its ongoing success and future growth.
“I am very impressed with the plans that are being developed for the future expansion of the complex and this demonstrates the forward thinking of everyone involved,” Mr Ryan said.
