ANDRA advises competitors that the Moroso Sealed Battery Box P/No. 74050 has been assessed as suitable for complying to the battery box requirements specified in the 2013 ANDRA Rulebook under 4.8.8 Batteries (Page 209).
Accepted by the NHRA, IHRA and now ANDRA, these tough polyethylene boxes have an airtight lid with a foam gasket to keep battery gasses from entering your car’s interior.
The boxes come with a vent tube, a battery hold-down with 3/8 in. steel rods, rubber cable clamps and grommets and mounting hardware.
ANDRA Technical has investigated a sample product and is satisfied that if fitted in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions the product will be fit for purpose.
