Davison Family Racing is making a return to contest the Australian Competition Eliminator Championship in 2015.
Off the radar for a season, driver Mark Davison and the team have been concentrating on business commitments throughout the past 12 months.
But now the team is looking forward to returning to the racetrack on a regular basis to a bracket Davison says they love, Competition Eliminator BB/A.
Mark Davison will at the wheel while 20-year-old son Shane Davison will take over steering duties at testing events.
“With some familiar faces and new crew members, our aim is to have some fun along the way and also win some races at the same time,” said Davison.
“After all, that is what the sport of Drag Racing is about; family and friends having a good time.
“The new name on the car says it all…. ‘Why So Serious!’ Because our team motto is to have fun but at the same time win!”
Currently in preparation for the short 2015 ANDRA Championship Season, the team plans to travel in their hunt for the Gold Christmas Tree.
Davison Family Racing will be racing for SignHut.com.au, Ricardos Autoworks D.A.M Quality Plastering Services, RAD Motor Cycle Shocky Repairs, Lockyer Engine Reconditioners and Infinity Property Solutions in 2015.
