It is with great honour that LAT Racing Oils Australia (Joe Polito) and Dragster Australia announce the facilitation of a six second elapsed time club for Australian Pro Stock Drivers. The way that the club will work is that there will be 10 spots open for the first 10 drivers to record six second passes.
“I believe that this is a great incentive for drivers to help achieve this great milestone in Australian Drag Racing history, remarked Joe Polito, Australian Pro Stock Drag Racer and an Australian Agent for LAT Racing Oils.
Dragster Australia are also pleased to be associated with the development of this great incentive for Pro Stock racers. Pro Stock has been a favorite of many stakeholders within Drag Racing and we think it’s fitting to give these guys such a great incentive. We will also be keeping all of our readers informed with the progress of this club with frequent updates in the magazine.
Paul Porter, Pro Stock Owners Association (PSOA) President, was also full of praise for Joe and Dragster Australia’s decision.
“I’d like to take this opportunity to thank Joe and Dragster Australia for supporting the bracket in this way. Joe and Dragster Australia has been involved in Pro Stock for a very long time within Australia and this goes to show that they both have the intention of being associated for a long time to come,” said Porter.
So how will the LAT Racing Oils six second club work?
The first driver to break into the six second zone will receive $1,500.00 cash along with a five gallon pail of LAT Racing Oil, a jacket and a commemorative plaque. The next nine members will receive $500.00 cash, the plaque and the jacket.
To be eligible for the prizes the driver must be a financial member of the Pro Stock Owners Association as well as display the LAT Racing Oils six second club decal as well as the Dragster Australia decal. The LAT Racing Oils decal and Dragster Australia decal, must remain on participating vehicle until all ten spots in the club are filled.
