Ham up against Top Alcohol's best in Adelaide.

Top Alcohol will be frenetic this weekend at Adelaide International Raceway’s Pro Series 1000 with nine cars battling to make it into an eight car field.

Queenslander Steve Ham currently sits tenth in the points and following some positive testing in Sydney is hopeful some new chassis components will improve their performances.

“To make such big changes to the car’s setup and have the car perform how it did gives us some good confidence going into Adelaide,” Ham said. “The changes we made to the setup throughout the weekend taught us a lot about what each change made. We are very happy with the data we gained and hope we can use it well this weekend.”

The TSP Racing Team will be looking forward to the new challenge of racing on a full bitumen, 1000 feet track over the course of the three day Adelaide Pro Series 1000.

“The main focus for us throughout the weekend will be to keep the car consistent and free of tyre shake, if we can do that fingers crossed competitive times will come,” Ham said,

Ham will contest the Pro Series 1000 against national champion Wayne Newby, multi time former champion Gary Phillips, Australia’s only current professional female racer Debbie O’Rourke and Sydney showman John Cannuli.

The Pro Series 1000 (April 13, 14 and 15) at Adelaide International Raceway will feature ANDRA Pro Series rounds of Top Fuel, Top Alcohol, Top Bike and Pro Stock Motorcycle plus over 200 sportsman racers.

Racing starts from 10am Friday and Saturday and 9am Sunday and tickets are available at the gate for just $35.
