Twenty-eight year old Grace Howell will make her debut in the Australian professional ranks at Willowbank Raceway’s FUCHS Winternationals (5-8 June 2014), competing in the Pro Stock category. It will be the first time the former professional NHRA drag racer will compete on Australian soil after moving to Australia in 2013 from South Carolina to be with her Australian partner and Pro Stock racer Scott Porter, and with years of drag racing experience behind her the petite blonde powerhouse is sure to be one to watch.

In this footage, Grace discusses her move to Australia, her upcoming on-track professional debut, and her status as a female drag racer and only the second woman in Australia to race in the professional Pro Stock bracket.

The FUCHS Winternationals will be held across the Queen’s Birthday long weekend (Thursday 5 June to Sunday 8 June 2014), with more than 400 racers expected from all across the country to compete in front of approximately 30,000 spectators across the four days.

For spectators, a range of ticketing options are available including special pre-purchase online-only multi-day event passes.  Students and Concession card (age and disability pension only) holders with photo ID gain discounts, while children aged 13 and under gain free entry.
