A new independent director has been appointed to the board of the Australian National Drag Racing Association.

Greg Griffith is the CEO of the Dairy Farmer Milk Co-operative and highly skilled in strategic design and implementation, negotiation, marketing and brand development, new market identification and entry, team development and team leadership, new business development and business networking.

Mr Griffith also has previous experience as general manager of sales and marketing for the Melbourne Football Club.

ANDRA CEO Greg Humphreys said the addition of Mr Griffith to the board provided more valuable skills for drag racing.

“Dairy farming and drag racing may seem entirely different fields but the business acumen is what we are after here,” Mr Humphreys said. “The experience of Mr Griffith in a large, member-based organisation and in a football club will serve our own sport very well.”
