After a landmark year ending in championship success in 2014, Lamattina Top Fuel Racing will tackle the 2015 season with a bigger raceshop, updated equipment, two full-time drivers and a promise to 'go all out for another championship.'

The new western-Sydney race shop has given the team the room they need to run the team’s dragsters at every round for the upcoming season and an even more precise regiment to an already slick operation.

Team Principal, Phil Lamattina was excited with the team’s development as they tackle a fourth title for the family-run operation.

“Obviously we had a good year in 2014 but that doesn’t mean we have been resting on our laurels.

“Aaron (Hambridge) and the boys have been getting the raceshop up to speed and working on getting things running even better when we get to the racetrack.

“As far as the cars go, we experimented with clutches last year and we are confident that we have what we need to continue to go quicker and faster in 2015.”

The ANDRA season launches at the Perth Motorplex with the Washpod Nitro Max, but the double header style of this event gives fans two rounds of racing in two nights and also includes the nitro bikes of Top Fuel Motorcycle as well.

The two individual championship rounds over two nights also means a winner is crowned each night of the event with the pressure of one-shot qualifying followed by dramatic race rounds.

Lamattina continued, “This is the first time we will have two cars in Perth and it will be John’s first time racing at the track.”

“Perth has been a great venue for us. It’s a legacy for one of our sport’s true greats, the late Gary Miocevich. It won’t be the same without him but we’ll be doing our very best to honour his memory with a win!”
