Four times Australian Top Fuel Champion Darren Morgan and AEG Powertools are once again teaming up.

The relationship that first began in 2010 has already provided Morgan with two Australian Top Fuel Championships and the team are focussed on delivering him a fifth.

“We have had great success with AEG Powertools over the years and we are eager to extend that success while putting on a great show for the fans at the East Coast Nationals,” said Morgan.

AEG Powertools National Marketing Manager Kon Romios echoed Darren’s thoughts.

“Partnering with Darren and team DMR just made sense to us. Darren’s four Championship titles are a testament to the combination of power and the teamwork behind the scenes making sure the end product does exactly what it’s built to do. This is what we at AEG Powertools also believe is paramount to our delivery of the best Powertools for the trade market.”

“Made of Power, our team are continuously working to bring our customers the tools that get the job done with the reliability expected in the trade industry. AEG are excited to share the journey with the team at DMR and the powerful sport of Top Fuel throughout the 2015/2016 season.”

Alongside AEG, DMR will be welcoming new partners McDonalds, Corso Body Works and Speedglas, as well as continuing their long-term partnerships with Shannon’s Insurance, Champion, PPG, Timken, Torque Calibration, L&H, Aeroflow, Orrcon, John Judd Industries, Tim Pattinson Design, Lovells and Elgas.

Morgan and his team last competed at the 43rd Westernationals at the Perth Motorplex, taking out runner up on the Saturday night before taking the win the following day.

The car ran consistent all weekend, with six consecutive 4-second passes, that culminated in running a 4.66, the quickest time for the team in recent seasons.

“With the upgraded equipment we ran at our last event in Perth we are eager to unleash the untapped performance in the car,” said Morgan.

The first event for DMR and AEG will be at the scene of their last championship victory in three weeks time for the East Coast Nationals at Sydney Dragway on November 7th and 8th.
