The 2012/13 ANDRA Drag Racing Series reaches fever pitch as the nitro supercharged action returns to Sydney Dragway for the 2013 Nitro Champs on May 4-5.
Top Fuel comes to Sydney on the back of an epic showing in Queensland and the drama will only continue. US Top Fuel veteran Tommy Johnson Jr makes his first appearance in Australia as Darren Morgan, Phil Lamattina, Phil Read, Damien Harris and Terry Sainty duke it out in nitro warfare.
See the stars of Top Doorslammer including Victor and Ben Bray, John Zappia, Peter Kapiris, Gary Phillips, John Cannuli, Mark Belleri, Maurice Fabietti, Stuart Bishop and US record setter Mike Janis shoot for five second times alongside the huge Pro Stock line up including brother and sister duo Shane and Kirsten Tucker, Jason Grima and his US team mate Brandon Huhtala, Lee Bektash and Dave Newcombe.
Plus there’s all the thrilling racing of Top Alcohol, Top Bike, Pro Stock Motorcycle and the Aeroflow Sportsman Drag Racing Championship.
As an added bonus this event marks the return of drag racing’s wildest vehicles, the 8000 horsepower Nitro Funny Cars, to Sydney Dragway! See Chris Stipanovich, Christine Steffens and Anthony Begley shooting flames into the Sydney sky as they hurtle down the quarter mile.
