Izzy Woolcock made her Nitro Voodoo Junior Drag Bike debut as part of a dual entry campaign at the recent Mildura City Council Sunset Nationals, not only successfully gaining her bike licence, but also claiming a first-round win while clocking personal bests on every single pass.
And that wasn’t all, with the soon-to-be 14-year-old – Woolcock celebrates her birthday on Friday – also taking out the Junior Dragster Top Qualifier medallion at what was round three of the 2026/2027 ANDRA Regional Sportsman Series.
“It was…I don’t know if intense is the right word, but it was a lot, to be switching between the two classes,” Woolcock reflects.
“I was quite nervous about it, being my first ever meeting on the bike, but it turned out to be a really great meeting.
“Top qualifying in the Junior Dragster was great, and to get my first round win on the bike in my first ever meeting on it, that was a really good feeling.”
Across four passes on the bike, Woolcock went quicker every time out.

“My first pass I ran 13 seconds, which wasn’t the best, but I am still working out how to get off the line with the clutch and so on, which we don’t have in Junior Dragsters,” said the Year Eight student.
“Then on my second pass I went 12 seconds; the third I did 11; and the fourth pass I did 10 seconds.
“Each run we were going better, so that felt really good and I am looking forward to getting back out there and seeing how else we can improve. I am definitely enjoying myself so far!”
Woolcock will next be in action for the ANDRA Regional Sportsman Series at the All Bike Nationals at Dragway at The Bend on Saturday 10 October.
It will be her third meeting on the bike following this weekend’s Track Championship round at the same venue.
“I am pretty excited for the All Bike Nationals,” Woolcock said.
“It will be my third meeting on the bike, and I love that it is a ‘just bikes’ event. I am a bit nervous, but it will be good.”
Woolcock is quick to credit the people behind the program.
“I want to send a massive thank you to dad Andrew and his business Custom Refinishes Australia, my mum Kate and her business KT Business Solutions, and also the Raschella family for letting me buy Lawrence’s old bike,” she said.
“I also want to thank the Pauls, Barlow, and Hawke families for all of their support, as well as Cory Read for his help with the engine work and tuning. And it is amazing to be racing alongside Attitude Racing.”
The All Bike Nationals, part of the 2026/2027 ANDRA Regional Sportsman Series, will feature ANDRA championship racing for Nitro Voodoo Junior Drag Bike, Nitro Voodoo Modified Bike, Nitro Voodoo Competition Bike, and Motorcycle Transport and Repairs Extreme Bike, as well as for NDRC Top Fuel Motorcycle and Pro Stock Motorcycle.
