The Australian National Drag Racing Association (ANDRA) is pleased to announce that the South Australian Drag Racers Association (SADRA) has once again taken on bracket sponsorship within the ANDRA Regional Sportsman Championship, backing the Super Street bracket for the 2026/2027 season.
The announcement continues a long-running relationship between SADRA and the Series, with SADRA having supported the Super Gas and Super Sedan brackets in recent seasons.
SADRA has maintained an affiliation with ANDRA across more than five decades, offering a vital service to South Australian drag racers and actively promoting ANDRA drag racing locally in Adelaide while also supporting regional tracks.
“SADRA, like all ANDRA member clubs, is all about promoting and supporting ANDRA drag racing, and supporting a bracket within the ANDRA Regional Sportsman Championship is one way that we can do that,” SADRA President, Andrew Favotti, said.
“Super Street is one of the most closely contested brackets in the championship and it is a bracket which is home to a number of our club members, so it made a lot of sense for us to get behind it for the rest of this season.
“We can’t wait to see how the Super Street battle unfolds across the remaining rounds of the 26/27 championship.”
ANDRA Chief Executive Officer, Tim McAvaney, thanked SADRA for its enduring support of the ANDRA Regional Sportsman Championship.
“I have said it many times before and I will say it many times again – clubs and their volunteers are the backbone of ANDRA drag racing and our sport would not be what it is without their support of our members,” McAvaney said.
