Mopar Australia (Chrysler) has announced a renewal of its sponsorship of ANDRA Pro Series Drag Racing's Lee Bektash and Team Mopar for the next two seasons. The renewal builds on Mopar's ongoing sponsorship of Lee and his team since 2008.

A rain interrupted Winternationals resulted in a postponement of the event until 15 – 17 July 2011.

The Nitro Voodoo Team was pumped for a strong result, only to see rain saturate the track two days into the event.

It seems to be a repeating occurrence throughout the 2010/2011 ANDRA Pro Series calendar that inclement weather has been the deciding factor in many of the events contested. The 2011 Castrol EDGE Winternationals that were originally scheduled for the Queen's Birthday Long Weekend (June 10 – 13) were no different.

Top Doorslammer drag racer, Robin Judd, is looking to finish the 2010-2011 (Australian National Drag Racing Association) ANDRA Pro Series the same way he started, with a win.  

Perth-based Judd won the season-opening Australian Nationals, for the second year in a row, at Sydney Dragway last September. This weekend, Judd is now looking to win the season-ending Winternationals at Willowbank raceway.

American Top Fuel racer, Cory McClenathan, is eager to win Australia's most prestigious drag race event, the Winternationals, to be held at Willowbank Raceway, Ipswich, this weekend (Friday-Monday, June 10-13).    

McClenathan, from Brownsburg, Indiana, will drive one of two Top Fuel cars entered by Sydney-based Rapisarda Racing/Titan Cranes team at the 44th annual Castrol EDGE Winternationals.

The 2011 Castrol EDGE Winternationals, which will be contested as the final round of the 2010/2011 ANDRA Pro Series calendar at Willowbank Raceway is set to showcase the best Pro Stock race ever seen outside North America.

This last weekend (June 4th and 5th), the PRE Motorsport team contested the Winters Warmups event held at Willowbank Raceway, Ipswich Queensland. Heading into the event the team was looking to improve on their personal best elapsed time and the team managed to do just that when the team recorded a 7.062 second pass during the first session on Sunday morning.
