Following the recent meeting in Adelaide between ANDRA and the three clubs that stage the Max Cranes Drag Racing Tri Series at their tracks, the following date have been finalised for 2011/2012.

The excitement grows as the kick off approaches for the Wide Bay Australia International Airshow as Stuart Bishop Racing is the main draw card at the 2011 event. The Stuart Bishop Race Team will have a static display over the three days and are committed to help raise funds for the Royal Flying Doctor Service.

There has been much speculation about the ERS Proposal that has been developed and distributed by Phil Lamattina. ANDRA would like to advise that the proposal which was officially received on August 1 will be tabled for discussion at the next ANDRA Board meeting which is being held in Sydney on August 20/21.

Maurice Allen and his Team can now report that the Team Milwaukee Tools Pro Stock Bike Team has been able to wrap up the 2011 ANDRA Pro Series Championship this year. We were able to maintain a 14 point margin over our fellow competitors at the Castrol Winter nationals Re Run after the event was once again cancelled due to rain said Allen.

Willowbank Raceway will host the 9th annual 'Mopar Sunday' show this Sunday, July 31. Mopar enthusiasts will have the chance to either watch or take part in a range of events including drag racing, a dyno shootout, show and shine and a swap meet.

For Steven Ham and the East Coast Lubes/Mobil 1 funny car, the 2011 Castrol Edge Winternationals proved to be a good opportunity to showcase the cars performance and end the season with a strong finish. With three drivers contesting for 2nd place in the championship it was still going to be a hotly contested event.
