Crowley is the current points leader in the 2012/13 ANDRA Pro Stock Motorcycle Championship, winning the opening round of the series, the 2012 Australian Nationals at Sydney Dragway. It backed up the team's win at the 2012 Fuchs Winternationals.

The ANDRA Top Fuel championship heads to Perth Motorplex again this weekend with round four and five of the series set to fire.

Five of the 8000 horsepower, nitro-consuming beasts will be on the track, competing in an all new format with individual championship rounds on both Friday and Saturday under the lights of the famed Kwinana Beach venue.

It is often said that the family that plays together, stays together. This is certainly an adage the Oberg family has taken to heart with mum and dad overseeing their sons competing in the sport of drag racing.

Caleb (14) and Ethan (10) have each been racing in the Junior Dragster bracket since the age of eight and will be part of the action at Warwick Dragway on 9 February 2013 when it hosts the opening round of the 2013 JP Racing Eighth Mile Drag Racing Series.

Following negotiations with Racing Onn Promotion’s Rino D'Alfonso, the Southern Super Gas Series is pleased to announce that the Adelaide Aeroflow Summer Speedfest event on February 23-24 has been added to the series.

Damien Harris will return to the ANDRA Drag Racing Series at Perth Motorplex in round four of the Australian Top Fuel championship, putting his team back together for a ‘last hurrah’.

Harris will be joining the Rapisarda Autosport International outfit after the February 1-2 event, meaning it will be the final outing for his current Best Tractor Parts dragster and crew.

Two ANDRA championship drag racing events will feature double header rounds this season with final approval being given from drag racing's governing body for events at Perth Motorplex and Willowbank Raceway to use the trial format.

More than 24,000 horsepower will be on show at Heathcote Park Raceway tomorrow (19 January) when eight Top Doorslammers lead the way for round one of the 2013 Slamfest series.

From 11.00am to 9.00pm, the Victorian track located just an hour and a half away from the Melbourne CBD will feature not only eight of the country’s fastest ‘doored’ cars but also a packed field of Supercharged Outlaw racers plus dial your own race categories.

Lamattina Top Fuel Racing (LTFR) has added another sponsor to the ranks, with clothing brand 60foot joining the team for the final round of the ‘western swing’ held at the Perth Motorplex, February 1 and 2.

The newly renamed Rapisarda Autosport International is rapidly growing with the Australian-based team bringing on two NHRA stars for the new year – with possible Australian appearances.

Team owner Santo Rapisarda confirmed today that three times NHRA champion Larry Dixon (pictured right) and three times NHRA champion crew chief Lee Beard would be joining them this season for the 2013 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series.

The ANDRA championship rounds of Top Doorslammer, Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle for Calder Park in February have been cancelled, due to the recent change in ownership of the history-steeped Melbourne venue.

The short time frame after the recent change in ownership of Calder Park caused a logistical challenge that would have been difficult to overcome in the time available.
