As the 2025/2026 ANDRA Sportsman Series gets underway with Nitro Up North this evening, ANDRA is pleased to announce that the penultimate round of the ANDRA Sportsman Series will be run at Sydney Dragway on Saturday 24th January, 2026 – finalising the season calendar (see below for the full dates listing).
The Australia Day weekend will see the one-day event feature round 7 of the ANDRA Series in addition to some Group 1 feature classes.
“This will be an event not to be missed,” commented ANDRA CEO Tim McAvaney.
“We are committed to returning to Sydney for our members and we are committed to providing great opportunities to Western Australian competitors who may elect to travel this year, with the Perth Motorplex currently having the drag surface replaced.”
More news about the event will be released shortly, particularly around what Group 1 categories will be featured, and licencing options for local NSW competitors who may wish to race with ANDRA on this special occasion.
In the meantime, ANDRA reminds competitors that the ANDRA Test and Tune at Sydney Dragway is coming up on 18 October, a perfect way to prepare for this event.
