ANDRA is proud to announce that Powerplus Racing Fuels has come on board with the new ANDRA Championship Racer Support Program for the Supercharged Outlaws bracket as part of the 2025/2026 ANDRA Sportsman Series.

The first opportunities for racers to be rewarded under this new program will come this weekend, with round one of the 2025/2026 ANDRA Sportsman Series – Nitro Up North – kicking off tonight, with round two swiftly following on Wednesday September 3 (Desert Nationals) at the Alice Springs Inland Dragway.

Powerplus Racing Fuels joins Ballistic Performance Parts in rewarding ANDRA racers as part of the ANDRA Sportsman Series, with the high performance fuels company offering a $100 fuel voucher for the Supercharged Outlaws winner and a $50 fuel voucher for the runners-up. Ballistic Performance Parts meanwhile offers vouchers to the Modified Bike and Junior Drag Bike brackets.

To qualify for the vouchers, racers must carry Racer Program support stickers (which will be supplied) on their bike from the first round of qualifying at each event. The vouchers will be presented at the end-of-event presentations at each event and the recipient will have 12 months to use their voucher.

Powerplus Racing Fuels CEO, Matthew Arutjunow, said the company is very pleased to be able to play a role in rewarding racers of the ANDRA Sportsman Series by being a part of this new initiative.

“Powerplus Racing Fuels is all about high performance and supporting our local scene, and Australian drag racing definitely fits that bill!” Arutjunow said.

“We have some long-standing relationships already in the sport of drag racing and we strive to continue and grow our support of local performance racing by supplying Australian made racing fuels to Australia made racers.”

“We are very excited to be taking this step now to expand our support of the sport through the ANDRA Sportsman Series.”

ANDRA Chief Executive Officer, Tim McAvaney, welcomed Powerplus Racing Fuels support.

“The support for our new ANDRA Racer Support Program since we launched it earlier this week has been really great and to already have companies putting their hands up to join alongside Ballistic Performance Parts is really promising,” McAvaney said.

“Powerplus Racing Fuels is a great company and we are so pleased to be able to welcome them to the ANDRA Sportsman Series. I can’t wait to see our Supercharged Outlaws racers rewarded by Powerplus Racing Fuels and our Modified Bike and Junior Drag Bike competitors by Ballistic Performance Parts in Darwin and Alice Springs, and at the rest of our events across the season.”

This new program sits alongside the existing ANDRA Contingency Program, and is another great way that companies can get behind ANDRA members.

“For ANDRA members, being eligible for this program is easy – all they need to do is make sure they have the program’s supplied stickers on their bike before they roll out for the first qualifying session of each event and keep them on throughout the event,” McAvaney said.

“With this new ANDRA Championship Racer Support Program operating alongside our Contingency Program for the ANDRA Sportsman Championship and also our sponsorship opportunities for each championship bracket, there is more ways than ever before for companies to support ANDRA members.

“I greatly encourage all of our members to support those companies who support us as we look to provide fantastic sportsman drag racing at ANDRA tracks around the country.”
