The drag racing family out in force for Clarke

The West Australian Drag Racing community turned out en masse last night to a fundraiser for fellow drag racer Jeff Clarke.

Over 300 drag racers, family and friends attended the Hogs Breath Cafe in Clarke’s hometown of Mandurah in a show of support for the national record holder and team owner of the current number 1 and number 2 Competition national champions.

The fund raiser was to assist Clarke in travelling overseas for cancer treatment not available in Australia.

ANDRA stewards wanted around the country

If you want to get up close and personal with some of the fastest machines in the world, then becoming a steward for the Australian National Drag Racing Association (ANDRA) might be right up your alley.

Behind the scenes at every drag racing event is a hard working team of ANDRA stewards who ensure vehicles are safe for competitors and fair for racing.

ANDRA currently requires stewards in all divisions, looking for motorsport enthusiasts who have availability on weekends for race events, are well presented, reliable, trustworthy and enjoy travel.

Stewards are trained by ANDRA through an accredited national training program and provided uniforms as well as reimbursement for out of pocket expenses.

Extreme Outlaws to headline sportsman show in Adelaide

The ANDRA Pro Series will be backed up by a strong field of Australia’s best sportsman racers when it returns to Adelaide on April 13, 14 and 15.

Extreme Outlaws, Modified, Super Sedan, Modified Bike, Super Street, Super Gas and Junior Dragster will provide plenty of action on the Adelaide International Raceway drag strip in addition to the ANDRA Pro Series categories of Top Fuel, Top Alcohol, Top Bike and Pro Stock Motorcycle.
