The Shannon''s Insurance Top Fuel Dragster will be attending the Summer Nationals at Sydney Dragway on the 12th - 13th, then the Motorvate Melbourne car show on the 20th and will then travel to Port Augusta for the Port Augusta Motor show on the 27th. |

The South Coast Drag Racing Association is proud to announce that Discovery Auto Group Portland has come on board as a major naming rights sponsor for the "Drags for Wishes" event which is to be held at the South Coast Raceway on the 5th and 6th of February 2010. This is the forth year of running the "Drags for Wishes" event which raises money to go towards granting seriously ill children with life threatening medical conditions, their most cherished wishes. With support from Discovery Auto Group, this event will help us raise even more money to go towards this fantastic cause. |

The opposition will see red when Team Mopar Australia launches a second HEMI-powered Dodge down the quarter mile in 2010. The second Dodge in red livery will give Team Mopar Australia an advantage in their goal to remain at the top of the Pro Stock Championship leader board.
Jason Hedges Racing Ready for 2010 Summernationals
In just three weeks time, the Jason Hedges Racing team will be hitting the track for the first time for the 2010 Calendar Year. The last time that the team took to the racetrack was on the West Coast of Australia for the inaugural Pro Stock event held at the Perth Motorplex facility. At thus event, the team failed to miss the championship field by four thousandths of a second, however, went to the final and scored runner up in the consolation bracket and also managed to reset a personal best elapsed time in the process.
