Australia’s Leonard Brothers will compete this weekend against the US’ best Fuel Altereds at the Nightfire Nationals.
The 11-14 August event is being held at Firebird Raceway in Boise, Idaho (US).
“We have converted the NitroRat Altered from alcohol to nitromethane and will be racing in the 6.0 Pro Class in a field of 10 cars as the first Australian Fuel Altered team to compete on US soil,” Mathew Leonard said.
Warren and Jane Leonard have joined Mathew in the US to assist with the program, as has Mike Gabel and Scott Schlisman of Salt Lake City (UT).
