This Saturday night the Western Australian drag racing fans will get a dose of nitro action as the AEG Powertools, Darren Morgan Racing (DMR) Top Fuel Dragster rolls into Perth for the 'Morgan v Lamattina' Top Fuel Match Race. The event will be conducted at the very fast Perth Motorplex on Saturday November 20th 2010, with the race including three passes that will be staged at regular intervals throughout the evening.

The Adelaide Motorplex consortium has fought for three years to buy or lease State Government land for the $100 million project, with the initial $25 million stage to include a race circuit, drag strip and business centre.

Sydney's Andrew Cowin picked up his first win of the 2010/11 ANDRA Pro Series Top Fuel Series with a win over Terry Sainty at Sydney Dragway. It was the second round of the Championship held over the October 30 & 31 weekend, and the second Sydney appearance of the nitro-burning, 8000 horsepower dragsters for the season.

Lamattina Top Fuel Racing ended their round two chances of winning by being knocked out of first round of eliminations on Sunday 31st October at Sydney Dragway. The Fuchs Top Fuel Dragster overpowered the track, smoking the tyres up against Phil Read in first round of eliminations.

Mildura's Darren Morgan has maintained his points lead in the 2010/11 Australian Top Fuel Championship in what was a hard fought battle at Round 2 of the ANDRA Pro Series last weekend at Sydney Dragway. Under threatening skies, that luckily failed to produce any rain, the AEG Powertools, Darren Morgan Racing (DMR) Top Fuel Dragster came up short in their semi final run after dropping cylinders early against local hero Terry Sainty.
