The third round of the 2010/2011 ANDRA Pro Series Australian Pro Stock Championship Aeroflow by Rocket industries event (April 8th and 9th) once again has seen the Tremaniac Racing team do well with Aaron taking the event win and extending his 2010/2011 championship points lead.

It’s with great pleasure that the Pro Stock Owners Association (PSOA) report that the 2011 Nitro Champs held at Sydney Dragway over the weekend April 29 – May 1 will be the largest ever Pro Stock field in ANDRA Pro Series history. As the entry list stands there are currently 25 entries for the event. The largest of the Group One fields for the event.

Fresh from securing the Top Comp championship in his home-state of West Australia, Rob Pilkington is about to head cross-country to Willowbank Raceway for the Castrol EDGE Winternationals.

Pilkington will race his Chev Monte Carlo Funny Car dragster across Friday June 10 to Monday June 13 in the Top Alcohol bracket, one of the six ANDRA Pro Series categories that will be enjoying the season finale event - the largest drag racing event outside of the US - at Willowbank Raceway.

Australia's Terry Sainty had what was probably his most challenging outing yet of his Top Fuel racing career last weekend.  The skilled driver for Santo Rapisarda's team participated in NHRA's totally unique 4-Wide Nationals held at Bruton Smith's fabulous ZMax Dragway in Concord North Carolina -- considered by most to be the "Bellagio" for the sport of drag racing.

Even though the Jason Hedges Racing (JHR) team may not have walked away with the win Saturday night (April 9th), the team did manage to maintain their third place in the points. The main goal that has been set by the JHR team is to finish within the top three in the championship for the 2010/2011 season.

Wanneroo stonemason, Allen Puglia etched his name even deeper into Australian Motorsport history last weekend by claiming his third Perth Motorplex Track Championship, and his third "Driver of the Year" title in the process.

It was a fight to the end, but Rob Pilkington emerged as the 2010/11 Top Comp champion for Western Australia following the season’s Grand Final on Saturday. Pilkington went into the final event as the points leader in his Force Equipment/Alutech Funny Car, with Jeffrey Clarke and Daniel Gregorini doing the chasing.

For Scott Porter and the Porters Can Do Pro Stock team, the 2010/2011 ANDRA Pro Series Pro Stock Season may not have been as eventful as they had liked. This has been due to business commitments that have kept them away from the racetrack. However, nonetheless, the performances that they have turned in have been impressive considering the amount of time that they have spent away from the racetrack.
