The DRAG All Bike Nationals presented by Harley Davidson has hosted plenty of exciting two-wheeled action at Dragway at The Bend today (Saturday November 8), including points-paying racing for the bike brackets of the 2025/2026 ANDRA Regional Sportsman Championship.
Those brackets are New Gen Business Park Competition Bike, New Gen Business Park Junior Drag Bike, and Ballistic Performance Parts Modified Bike.
In Ballistic Performance Parts Modified Bike, Dean Jamieson was both the New Gen Business Park Top Qualifier and the event winner, over runner-up Brock Richards.
Jamieson booked his ticket to the final after top qualifying with wins over Ian Read (round one), Jarrod Healey (round two) and Peter Bartlett (round four) with a bye in round three. Richards meanwhile enjoyed a semi-final bye following victories over Matt Jones (round one), John Brooks (round two), and Rob Church (round three).

“We had a couple of good runs including PBs in ET and MPH, and then we had a few gremlins. I had a bit of help from Archie Fabian who helped out with some spare parts, Peter Bartlett who lent us a hand even when we were actually racing him, and even Junior Bike racer Austin who was lending us tools in the staging lanes, it was much appreciated,” Jamieson said.
“It was good to get the win, that makes three in a row for the events I have been to and sees us onto the points cap, so that’s great.
“Thanks to bracket sponsor Ballistic Performance Parts, as well as Top Shop Casterton, and to the crew for a hectic day!”
In New Gen Business Park Competition Bike, Jake Hamilton-Moderate took the ANDRA Christmas Tree after earlier claiming the New Gen Business Park Top Qualifier Medallion. The runner-up was Nevil Langley.
Hamilton-Moderate went all the way to the final after having top qualified following successful match-ups over Corey Read (round two) and Paul Andrews (round three), with a bye in the first round thanks to his TQ status. Langley meanwhile had taken on Joe Khoury (round one) and Cory Read (round three), with a round two bye.

“It has been a pretty good day!” Hamilton-Moderate grinned.
“We struggled a bit with traction but we managed to run it like a bracket bike for most of the day in the seven-forties.
“It was very good to take the win and it is good to start making some ground with the bike. We shortened the wheelbase six inches over the last two rounds, to get more traction, and we didn’t backflip it – so that is a bonus!” he laughed, before thanking Mod Con Civil, his crew chief Marius, his crew, wife, and kids for their support.
In New Gen Business Park Junior Drag Bike, the win went to Kobe Ashelford (pictured at top thanks to Snapshot Media), who clinched the victory over runner-up Bailey Paul. The New Gen Business Park Top Qualifier Medallion was claimed by Cooper Ashelford.
Ashelford found himself in the final after dispatching Austin Walpole (round one) and Riley Kilvington (round two) before a round three bye, while Paul had faced off against Cooper Plummer (round one), and Cooper Ashelford (round three), with a bye in round two.
“It feels pretty good to get the win, it is really exciting,” Ashelford said.
“I haven’t won in a long time, I haven’t been to a final for a while, so it feels really good to win again.
“It was a really good event as well and I had a lot of fun with my mates and my dad, all my crew, and the other races.
“Thank you to dad, mum, and my sponsors Dannani Hot Shots, and Shock and Thaw Sports Recovery.”
In the other (non-ANDRA-championship) brackets, the top qualifying honours went to Leigh Robson (Street Harley), Bill Nash (Scooter Challenge), Luis Izatt (Street Bike), and Blair Pennington (Harley Grudge). The wins went to Michael Cristoforo (Street Harley – over runner-up Anita Harris), Greg Oberti (Scooter Challenge – over Kenny Harris), Jason Lee (Street Bike – over runner-up, Brenton Holder), and Blair Pennington (Harley Grudge – over Beau Strike).
