New Pro Stock team PRE/Goldfingers Racing is hoping that Round Two of Willowbank Raceway's New Year Series will be the scene of their racing debut after 'new car blues' saw them fail to qualify for the season-opening Nationals in September.

A shock first round loss at the recent 39th annual Goldenstates Title at the Perth Motorplex has seen Robin Judd lose his lead in the (Australian National Drag Racing Association) ANDRA Pro Series Top Doorslammer championship.

Mark Belleri may only be in his first full season, but is taking out the big guns of the sport.

The 28 year old of Narrabeen in New South Wales took on and defeated three-time and reigning Top Doorslammer champion John Zappia in Perth earlier this month, no small feat for someone who until now has enjoyed only sporadic outings in the professional category.

Darren Morgan Racing has returned to Mildura following their appearance at the Show Us Ya Wheels car show in the Central Victorian town of Numurkah on Sunday.

The AEG Powertools, Darren Morgan Racing Top Fuel Dragster completed a series of ground shaking start-ups that certainly got the attention of the locals. The event also featured Matt Hall in his Red Bull Air Race plane, a dyno shootout as well as plenty of exhibitors and their cars.

The smell of Methane, VHT and burning rubber was enough to tell us the Steel City Drag 2010/2011 race season was off to a blinding start.

The first meeting and Round One of the Charlie Dennis Memorial trophy enticing a record number of entries of, 71 Cars, 21 Bikes and 6 Junior Dragsters attracting an impressive collection of motor vehicles. From the Junior Dragsters to the high octane Blown Outlaws, everyone was out to impress and a couple were vying for the track record.
