Given Steve's belief that the tracks play a critical stakeholder role in the sport, along with the challenges that the weather delivered to Queensland and Willowbank Raceway this year, Steve has decided to focus solely on his role as the Managing Director of Willowbank Raceway.

The South Coast Drag Racing Association is proud to announce a new sponsorship deal with FUCHS Lubricants (Australasia) Pty Ltd. The new partnership will see Fuchs as the new naming rights sponsor for the South Coast Raceway in Portland, VIC. Part of the partnership arrangement it will see the track renamed for the 2011/2012 season to "Fuchs South Coast Raceway".

There has been much speculation about the ERS Proposal that has been developed and distributed by Phil Lamattina. ANDRA would like to advise that the proposal which was officially received on August 1 will be tabled for discussion at the next ANDRA Board meeting which is being held in Sydney on August 20/21.

The Castrol EDGE Winternationals and the Australian Championships final round at Willowbank Raceway have concluded with the event being a total washout! ANDRA is extremely disappointed that such an important component of our events calendar has concluded in such a way. Notwithstanding that, ANDRA has already commenced planning a new "National Events Template" which will ensure that new risk mitigation strategies will be in place to prevent a reoccurrence of last weekend's outcomes.
