Weather conditions contributed to engine problems for a number of teams in ANDRA Pro Series Top Doorslammer at the 2010 Westernationals at Perth Motorplex, but despite a hurried engine change after the first round of racing John Zappia's Striker Crushing Monaro continued its 5.8 second performances into a win in the all Perth final against Robin Judd. |
Redgrave Moves Up Nine Places With Western Top Bike Win

In his second event in Top Bike competition, Ipswich rider Geoff Redgrave moved up to fourth place in ANDRA Pro Series Top Bike with a win at the 2010 Westernationals at Perth Motorplex. His nitrous oxide boosted Suzuki appeared no match for the six second bikes, but reliability and consistency are important at all levels of the sport, and Redgrave was right there when fellow Queenslander Chris Matheson struck traction problems in the final. |
